Missing beam locking pins are one of the most common faults found during an inspection. Whilst their absence is only initially deemed as an ‘amber’ risk, their continued absence becomes a ‘red’ risk within 24 hours of the inspection.
‘Red’ risk racking must be offloaded immediately and taken out of commission until the fault is resolved.
